मुंबई इंडियंस के कप्तान रोहित शर्मा (Rohit Sharma) के कल मंगलवार (11 अप्रैल 2023) को एक कप्तानी पारी खेलकर टीम को सीजन की पहली जीत दिलाई। इसी जीत के साथ ही मुंबई ने कई सीजन के बाद शुरुआती तीन मैचों में से किसी एक मैच में जीत प्राप्त की है। हालाँकि, यह मैच बहुत ही रोमांचक अंदाज में खत्म हुआ। मैच में मुंबई को आखरी बॉल पर जाकर जीत नसीब हुई। मुंबई इस जीत का लाभ अंक तालिका में भी हुआ। टीम इस समय आठवें स्थान पर पहुँच चुकी है। इस शानदार जीत के हीरो रहे कप्तान रोहित शर्मा को प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच भी चुना गया।
